The Mummified Forest of Axel Heiberg

Our guests took a trip to the island of Axel Heiberg, one of the most remote places on the globe and home to a stunning collection of glaciers and mountains. The island is also home to a 43 million year old mummified forest. Beyond the forest, our guests roamed the countryside where they encountered the island’s wildlife, including roaming herds of muskoxen, polar bears, Arctic wolves and more.
